Q.Ripening tomatoes
It seems that it is taking longer for my tomatoes to ripen than in years past, despite weather conditions. They flower and fruit as usual, but remain green until well into September. This did not happen in years past when I started gardening. It happens in hot summers, cool or rainy summers as well.
Tomatoes actually ripen with heat and ethylene gas. These articles will help you. You an also ripen the tomatoes off the vine.
