Can you ripen peppers to red or yellow or orange off the plant?

You can ripen green bell pepper to red, by leaving on the plant until it “turns”. Most of the orange and yellows are a separate variety that you can grow. There are also red varieties that area available as well. And if you want to experiment, try the chocolate ones. They taste like green peppers, but smell like chocolate! Kids love these.
