Q.Rhubarb

Hello, I sent you a question about my rhubarb plant at the end of May but have not received a response yet so I am trying again. My rhubarb is planted in a wooden barrel and grows every year unabated by cold weather. It is a mature plant but it has been growing thin stalks for the last several years. Pls advise me what to do! Thank you

I looked back for your question in email and online but did not see it. It may not have come through.

Thin rhubarb can be due to overcrowding. Since your plant is in a container, if it has not been divided, that may be the problem. Here are more possibilities:
