Can you plant rhododendron in pots and what soil, please?

Yes, rhododendrons can be planted in pots provided your pot has good drainage. Since rhododendrons have shallow roots, you should opt for wide, shallow pots rather than tall, narrow ones. Plant your rhododendron with a potting mix formulated for azaleas.
