Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comReceived a flowering Rhododendron for Mother’s day and it has been outside in a clay pot since then. Its leaves are healthy and green. How should I care for it this winter? Shall I bring it inside? Plant it in the ground? Don’t want it to die. Help! Living in SW Ohio.

Fall is a good time to plant your Rhododendrons into the ground. Make sure you provide good moisture until ground freezes to ensure they take root.
You will need to give them a good mulching to protect their shallow root system.
You can also add a burlap tent around the plant to protect it from the winter sun and wind. Leave the top open to provide air.
