Q.Revive Old Peace Lily
I have several peace lilies I acquired from my mother’s funeral (2002) and my father’s funeral (2012). I’ve cut old leaves off at the bottom when they brown, which leaves a brown stalk at the bottom. The greenery is still going strong, but do I lay it down partially so the brown stalk part roots, then cut it below that to start a new one? The same for my aloe vera, which is about 15 years old too. I know that will root, but I don’t know about peace lilies.

unfortunately, your photos did not come through. Generally, with both plants (since they have very relaxed care guidelines) proper care will bring them back to health and keep them that way.
It may be necessary to know what is causing leaf browning since this is not normal to the extent that it leaves a bare stem. This could be bacterial/fungal in nature or a number of issues.
