Reproducing Bulbs

If you leave the bulb in the ground throughout winter, will it come back in the spring? Also, do the bulbs reproduce each year?

It depends on where you live and what variety of bulb you plant. Say, a hardy bulb like a daffodil, the bulb replenishes itself after it blooms and also makes bulblets, which are small baby bulbs. These small bulbs will grow to full size bulbs and thus the dafodill bulb multiplies.
