Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello, My daughter bought me a weeping silver birch last summer and it is still in the pot that it came in from the nursery. When I re-pot, can I go to a very large pot or should I increase the size gradually as the tree develops? At present the tree is about 1.5 metres tall. Alternatively, should it now be planted in the ground?

It’s always best to plant a large growing tree in the ground while it’s young, if you have a good place for it.
