No. Burying part below the soil will only encourage rot. Better to remove some of the branches from the main stem to lighten the load. You can let the ends callous over, then plant.
You also can cut from the top, let it callous over, and plant it in cactus soil.
You can stake it and/or add driftwood to the base to help stabilize the cactus if you don't want to cut it.
