Q.Repotting a yucca (tree)?

Zone Waterloo,Iowa | Barbara Frost added on October 21, 2017 | Answered

I have a large 3 trunked yucca that has been outdoors all spring, summer and now fall-I’d love to be able to save it and have it outdoors again next year. Since I live in Iowa I’ll need to bring it indoors is this possible? Can it survive in an out building or does it need to be in the house? If possible is there any repotting tricks I need to know? Thank you

It will be happiest in a house near a south facing window, but yes, this is possible. Here is a link on caring for them in container: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/growing-yucca-indoors.htm

Here is an articl on re-potting them: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/yucca/yucca-repotting-tips.htm
