Q.Repotting A Leggy A. Violet

Zone 24202-3805 | Anonymous added on October 30, 2022 | Answered

Since my leggy A. Violet has more than 1″ of bare stem, I am following the directions to cut the plant off at the soil level and re-root it. But my question is, what do I do with the part of the plant that is still in the dirt? Will it regenerate leaves and grow or do I discard it?

If you are cutting off all the stems at the base you can discard the rest of the plant.
