Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI separated the rhizomes in November and stored the the roots and rhizomes in my basement after they had dried out. I replanted them in large pots with a mix of potting soil and black dirt. I did this about three weeks ago, and I don’t have any buds showing yet. Are they dead or how long does it take for them to come back to life?
Thanks
Mike

This can depend on the outdoor temperatures.
You could see sprouts anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks after planting the corms.
Corms should be planted about 4 to 5 inches deep and the ‘eye’ pointing upward.
