Replanting Growing Garlic

Zone PA | jackcoach added on March 14, 2013 | Answered

I have some garlic that's been growing for 2 years. Should I split the cloves now and replant? Each small clove has a green shoot coming out, probably around 15-20 shoots per clump. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm in SE PA.

I remember being told to plant garlic between Halloween and Thanksgiving and harvest between Father's Day and July 4. it's always worked for me! the following article goes into more detail: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/garlic/growing-garlic-how-to-plant-and-grow-garlic-in-your-garden.htm
