Q.Renewal Pruning
Is it a requirement lora pendulum especially (and other bushes) MUST be trimmed 6″ to 12″ off the ground? We recently had our lora pendulum bushes pruned down to about 25-30″ off the ground or so. A neighbor who reads a lot – said they should have been trimmed down to 6 to 12 inches. We have a crepe myrtle in the landscape (in front of the lora pendulum and the landscaping company said that was taken into consideration – keeping the bushes in proportion with the crepe myrtle.

This is proper, and they did do the right thing for the situation. It will not hurt the plants to leave a little more than recommended.
