Removing grass from Lily of the Valley

Hi, I have a patch of Lily of the Valley in my garden. I love the lilies but there is grass growing in the patch. They are in a sunny location so the lilies grow slowly and the grass grows quickly. What can I use to kill the grass without killing the lilies?
Thanks,
Tim

You can spot spray or paint on a grass killer herbicide like Monsanto RoundUp or Dow Rodeo, but any overspray or drift will affect the lilys.

The only other way is manual removal; yes down and dirty, dig and pull.
