Q.Removal of rootstock suckers on fruit trees

Zone North East Victoria, Australia | mjfmcop added on July 16, 2015 | Answered

Once the suckers are removed, is there any substance that will prevent regrowth without killing the tree? Some of the suckers are around the trunk and some along the main roots up to 50cm from the trunk.
Thanks, Mike
