Q.Removal of rootstock suckers on fruit trees
Once the suckers are removed, is there any substance that will prevent regrowth without killing the tree? Some of the suckers are around the trunk and some along the main roots up to 50cm from the trunk.

No, just trim them back as soon as they appear.
