Q.Regions In USA
Thank you all for great information; today going through the “regions” trying to find the Front Range of Colorado … didn’t find; looking at the map you provided I am in zone’s 5-6; other maps I’ve looked at say 4-6; we get first frost here pretty consistent 2nd week in October. The reason I keep asking about this is the seeds I get from the box stores do pick the organic verity most have poor germination rate nor thrive in our hot summers even though the package says so! I amend the soil, fertilize when appropriate etc…I guess there is something I’m missing! Been on this property 27yrs! I live in the suburb of Denver Colorado further north; always amazing to me how Gods trees survive the constant heavy pollution and smoke from our wild fires each year; it’s a wonder anyone can breath good! Thank you for taking the time reading this; have a bless day. Look forward to your reply.

You are in zone 6a; Colorado zones range from 3 to 7 with the newest zoning maps. We have articles on almost everything you can grow. Next time you buy a seed packet, look up the plant in our website for more information on how to grow it: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com. You also can try starting the seeds indoors for a better germination rate. Use seed starting soil for best results. Cover the seeds with a clear plastic dome till the seeds sprout. Here is more:
