Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHi there, My gardens are in dire need of cleaning up. I want to dig everything up till the garden, add new soil and then replant. How long will the plants live out of the ground as long as I keep them moist and covered?

How long plants may survive out of soil is quite open, and has many factors, including the type of plants.
I would advise placing the plants into containers or pots while you make changes to your garden.
