Q.Red Tip Photinia

Anonymous added on March 4, 2014 | Answered

I have large red tips (at least 9 ft tall). I have found small starts that look like photinia about 30 ft away. Could these actually be starts from the shrubs? I live in zone 8. Thank you.

Yes, it could be starts from the plant, either from seed or from suckers. If they are growing on their own, you can dig them up and transplant them.
