Recommended Shrubbery And/or Plants.

Question

Low maintenance shrubbery for my front yard. The flowerbed faces the North/Northeast. I like the purple color of shrubs I’ve seen. I also like the look of purple shrub, cut like a hedge, with greenery planted in front of it. Also, what would you recommend to plant on the corner of the house. Currently there is a tall evergreen that has tripled in size in 7 years…way to big for that area. The flowerbed measures approximately 25-30’length x 6′ depth. Thank you for your time.
