Recommend A Ground Cover For Shade?

Question

I have a shady area that used to be lawn St Augustine. Now it grows weeds and moss. I like the moss, but I am looking for a ground cover. The area is in deep shade and kind of wet. I have confederate jasmine but I would like something else. I would try grass again but I am discouraged with grass. I have St. Augustine in the front yard, which is sunny. The backyard grass is almost nonexistent I have even resodded a few spots and they have died. I have a big problem with mole crickets that I plan to treat in April.
