Q.Your article about leaving weeds in lawn for butterflies?

Zone 3-4, Vermont | CyndyC added on July 25, 2015 | Answered

I was perusing this site for tips on getting rid of lawn weeds. I am happy to leave them be, except if they are to attract beneficial insects to lay their eggs, can I still mow every week?

How about growing some flowers that would be beneficial and attract butterflies?
I would not avoid lawn care in order to avoid beneficial insects. It would likely attract more bad bugs than good ones.
