Q.raspberry canes or bushes?
for the first time early last year I was given 4 raspberry canes (they didn’t fruit). In February I did as instructed and cut them back to ground level, I now have bushes to around 3 ft high but very little has flowered. What have I done wrong? The advice on the internet is confusing and differing.

It is necessary to know the type when pruning. Most will only fruit on older canes, so removing them will remove flowering canes. This article will go into more detail on pruning raspberries: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/raspberry/pruning-raspberry-bushes.htm
