Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comour raspberry patch produced very little fruit this year …the berries are small and many of the buds did not grow into berries …we fertilize and water the canes … we prune dead canes and we have put black covering in the patch to prevent weeds …the leaves looks good ….previous years we have had bountiful crops

This has been a difficult growing season for gardeners. If you are getting flowers with no fruit, this is typically a pollination issue. These articles may help:

If you are not seeing any flowers, then it is likely due to a lack of phosphorus in the soil. This can be remedied by using a phosphorus rich fertilizer or adding bone meal to the soil around your plants.
