Q.Raking/removing leaves

Anonymous added on November 20, 2014 | Answered

Do you recommend removing tree leaves from the lawn over the fall/winter season? Or is it a good idea to leave them on the lawn and mow/cut them up in the spring?

I would either rake them up or cut them up in the fall. If you wait until spring, you can kill off some of the emerging early grass growth. If you mulch them in the fall, the grass can grow through the small pieces.
