raising Jasmine indoors?

When bringing Jasmine plant indoors before frost, I have sunlight 2 hours directly. Should I use a sunlamp for the other 4 hours? I water on the rim of the plant every other day – it is growing leaps so this must be ok. I transferred it into a 2 gallon pot a few weeks ago and now it is up to my waist. Should I get a bigger pot? Should the fan be high or low and how many inches away. I used Miracle Grow 12% Phosphote is that ok? I have a china plate under it, and I will have a pebbled tray.

this is my first plant in many, many years. Anything you can tell me will be wonderful. Thank you.
