Rainbow Eucalyptus Is Dropping Leaves. Why?

Has been in ground 3 years. Has never been pruned. Now leaves are yellowing and dropping. I’m afraid it’s dying?

Rainbow eucalyptus need a full sun, moist environment with lots of room to grow. Typically a residential yard is not ideal.

Dropping leaves means the tree is stressed. Is it getting enough water? If rainfall isn't sufficient, it needs supplemental watering. Here is more:
