Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI usually plant my radish seeds by preparing the bed by raking a small plot smooth, scatter the seeds by hand, spread the dirt over the seed by rake, and firm the soil by tamping with the rake. This works fairly good with about half the plants developing into nice size radishes, but the other half develop long roots without bulbs. This year I planted them in a row in a depth of approximately one-half inch. Nearly all just developed elongated roots. What am I doing wrong?
