Radish large globular, red, white center

Would like to know what they are called. I was told Grandfather radish. Size of a hardball.
Is that proper name?  Where can i get them for me to grow? Nobody seems to know, but I see them certain times of the season.  I love them–just like eating an apple with some spark to them.

Unfortunately, there are very many varieties that will have this growth type. I would not be able to tell you an exact variety. Most of the giant radishes will match this description. I would check somewhere with heirloom seeds to find something that isn’t quite common, if you suspect it to be an older variety.
