I want to put spider plant outside. Can a spider plant be put outside in sunlight?

You certainly can move your spider plant outdoors for the summer, but you will want to find a cooler shady area for it to hang out in. Spider plants prefer a cooler temperature so you will need to be mindful of the summer conditions. Additional watering may be needed while it's outdoors.
