Q.Question About Personal Pollinator Garden.

Zone Spencer,WI 54479 | Anonymous added on October 20, 2022 | Answered

I live in Clark County, WI and planted parts of my 20 acres unused field for a pollinator and butterfly flower plot , other half is hay when needed. I have a few neighbors who think i am crazy, not legal and think i have no right to do this!I have a sign or three up to show they are certified/registered paying dues yearly through a couple of well known associations 3 which are Pollinator.net “Farm garden registry” and other Monarch Way Station and Monarch Joint Venture! I wanted to make sure this is legal and it’s in my land boundaries and i monitor the area and keep paths trimmed, monitor for bad weeds and sign for trespassing and warming sign about bees which i do not keep, it’s to support honey producers in the surrounding area! I do No selling, trading and unwanted legal activity is forbidden also! I also want to help pollinators and hope to support the pollinator protection laws!

You may need to check with the local conservation service and make sure nothing you are planting is considered a noxious weed in your area.
