Quantity of Zoysia

If I wanted Zoysia plugs for a one acre lawn, how many plugs would I need? Can Zoysia be seeded?

Generally, it takes 1-2 plugs per square foot. You can also plant zoysia seeds, about 2 pounds per 1,000 sq. ft. (or 90 lbs. per acre).
