Quack Grass

I had a yard full of this awful grass last year. It’s a horrible thick grass that grows in clumps and has long roots. It killed much of my lawn last year and now it’s back. I keep pulling it up, but there must be a better way to get rid of it without killing the good grass. I’m not sure it is quack grass, but it’s awful. Can you help? Thanks in advance – I hope. It’s not crabgrass.
