Q.pussy willow tree
I have had a pussy willow tree for 3 years now. I did no trimming last fall and this year there is no growth on it. What should I do?

If you mean there are leaves but no catkins (the furry white fluffs that appear in the spring), that's less of an issue than if there are no leaves whatsoever. It's a bit late in the season to prune it, so you'll have to wait till next year, provided the tree is still alive (if it has leaves then of course it is; if it has no leaves, start with the outermost branches: check to see if they break off easily. Move toward the innermost trunk(s) of the tree to locate any branches that are not brittle and greenish inside) and in an acceptable location. These articles may help you:
