Make sure you are growing your grass in well draining soil and full sun, though if you are in a warm climate; partial sun may be best.
Watering regularly but drying out between watering.
Apply a slow release fertilizer in the spring, NPK of 3-1-2 or 4-1-2.
Keep in mind that ornamental grasses sleep the first year, creep the 2nd year and leap the 3rd year!
