Purple Flowering Stems on My New Zoysia Lawn

Question

My zoysia lawn put in last fall was growing very beautifully in early March. All a sudden, it turned purple and brownish after EPM spread weed killer and fertilizers. Now the whole lawn looks awful with all the flowerings and brown spots. We have mowed a couple times, but never seems to stop the grass from flowering and some parts dying. What is the problem due to? How can we save the lawn?
