Pumpkins – when do they start to grow

I planted one Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin plant and it has grown 30 feet. It has been flowering for about 2 months, yet we do not see a pumpkin growing and it is the end of August. Is this normal? If so, when should I see them start to develop? How many should I expect? Also, most of the leaves are diseased (turned white). Will this affect the plant from producing pumpkins? Can it be treated and saved and, if so, how what do I do it? Thanks.

The lack of fruit forming may have been a pollination issue.
It is likely to late in the season to do any self pollinated and your pumpkins will not have enough time to grow.

The white leaves is likely caused by Powdery Mildew.
