Pumpkins

Question

I live in Colorado Springs, Co. and planted my pumpkin patch in early June. Quite a few of my pumpkin crop are orange already. Will they still grow in size after they turn orange, or are they done growing? Halloween is still 2 months away – do I pick them when they turn orange, or leave them on the vine? And if I leave them, how do I know when they are ready to pick?
