Pumpkins

I have been trying to grow pumpkins for 3 years. I get wonderful plants and flowers but don’t get any pumpkins (just once I did get one). I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

This is typical behavior for a squash plant (of which pumpkins are related). They will produce mostly male (non-fruiting) blossoms early in the season and will gradually start to produce more female blossoms as the season progresses. Give it some time and you will see it start fruiting. This could also be due to poor pollination. Poor pollination affects fruit set. If you are seeing fruit but they are falling off, you could try hand-pollinating your pumpkins, which is done in the same manner as with squash.
