Pumpkin vines

Once the pumpkins start to turn yellow, can I pull out the vine to cleanup the garden space?

It is best to avoid moving the vines too much, as they root along the vine to increase nutrient uptake for such a large fruit. disturbing these will delay or even halt the pumpkins production. Here is a link that will further help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pumpkin/ ^[1]
