Pumpkin Growing

Question

My pumpkins are growing but the leaves at the main root are turning yellow and then die. The rest of the plant looks healthy. Now, I know that it wasn’t getting enough water but I have corrected the problem.
Could there be something else going on?

Some yellowing of leaves is normal and since the rest of the plant looks healthy, it would not concern me.
