Q.pumpkin

Anonymous added on July 18, 2015 | Answered

My son grew pumpkins in his second grade class this spring and took them home in June. It was growing nicely in a small beverage cup inside the house by the window. Then I decided to plant it in an outside potting cup (potting soil). Now they are wilting and the stems are pale. Help, what did I do to his poor pumpkins?

Pumpkin seedlings can be sensitive to moving and replanting.
Water the seedling daily and try to shade it from the brightest, hottest part of the day until it acclimates to the garden setting.
