Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy weigela bushes are really looking stressed by the 100 degree plus temperatures. I am wondering about pruning them now even though they bloomed in May. Would it stress them even more? The majority of the leaves are dead looking, though some at the back of the bushes look fairly well.

It should be ok to lightly trim off any of the dead looking foliage. For additional help with pruning these shrubs, take a look at this article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/weigela/pruning-weigela.htm [1]
