Q.Pruning Sago Palms

Anonymous added on April 22, 2014 | Answered

I have tall sagos that are developing pups. Should the pups be removed? Don’t know if it’s good to leave the pups or remove them so the parent doesn’t become weakened.

Yes, you can remove the pups without harming the plant. This article will help (towards the bottom): https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/sago-palm/prune-sago-palm.htm
