Q.Pruning Rose Seedlings

Anonymous added on August 20, 2011 | Answered

My rose seedlings are now very tall, 6-inch plants, but very delicate. When and how would be best time to prune? I don’t want to lose them now as they were a Christmas present from daughter.

Give them some more time. Once they get to around 8 inches tall and have started to spread out a bit, you can prune them lightly to shape them into a nice bush form. But prune lightly. Some folks do not do any pruning on them until they have bloomed.
