Q.Pruning Pomegranate tree

Zone Paget Bermuda | normathomson added on February 7, 2018 | Answered

I live in Bermuda and decided to prune my pomegranate tree which now stands about 12 feet tall. I thought I was pruning old branches but then realized they had tiny little buds on them…yikes. Did I mess up my tree by doing this? someone help… 🙂

You did the right thing for fruiting production. It does make the tree look a little strange, but you did nothing to harm it. Here is an article for more iformation: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/pomegranate/pomegranate-tree-pruning.htm
