Q.Pruning orange floweredskotch broom

Zone 24153 | wrwitt added on October 18, 2017 | Answered

My bush has grown too tall. Mine has beautiful orange flowers. The picture shows yellow flowers and seed pods, which mine doesn’t have! But it needs shortened. How and when? And have they mislabeled?

They are just variations of each other, and what applies to one will apply to the other. Here is an article for more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/broom-plants/scotch-broom-pruning.htm
