Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have several mums that have survived the winter and are now starting to grow. Can I cut them back to make them more bushy plants? Also, how to do it if it is a good idea?
Thanks

Yes, if you are beginning to see new growth, go ahead and cut back the old foliage. Stems of the mums are pruned back to 3-4 inches above the ground.
