Q.Pruning indoor hibiscus plant

Anonymous added on September 8, 2015 | Answered

Mine is getting very sprawling and I would like to shape it up and make it more compact for indoors. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Was wondering if I would just follow the instructions given which seemed to refer to outdoor plants. I would like to know when to prune for the indoor one and also where and how much. Thank you.

Yes, you would prune it back the same indoors as you would outdoors, though you may do so prior to bringing the plant back inside rather than waiting until spring. Also, do not cut more than a third of the plant at one time.
