Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe have several holly bushes on the front of our home. My husband trims them with electric hedge trimmers. I recently noticed that the bushes only have leaves on the outer edges and tops. On the inside, the branches are bare. Any advice? I’m afraid they are all going to die and we will have to replace all of them!

As long as the branches (stems) are alive, they should regrow.
